• Ramsons Kala Pratishtana (RKP) is an art foundation of Ramsons, the well known art entrepreneurs of Mysore. RKP is a non-profit organisation which encourages research, imparts training, and furthers development conservation in the field of art & craftforms. It was founded in 1995 and since then it has recognised the rare talents of obscure artists by presenting them Rotary Ramsons Kala Pratishtana Award and Shilpashree Award. RKP has also sponsored several exhibitions to promote artists and their work.
• Pratima Gallery is another step in the constant endeavour of RKP in the development of art; the gallery provides a platform for the artists to exhibit their works to the art connoisseurs of Mysore, the culturally rich city of Karnataka. Being situated nearer to tourist hotspots and Bus station.
• The gallery is just 2 kms away from the Mysore Palace and in the oldest extensions of Mysore - Nazarbad. The gallery is situated on the busy Nazarbad main Road also known as Bazar street. One can have the Mylari dosa at either of two hotels serving the famous pancakes of Mysore and walk upto the Reliance Fresh store in front of which is the grand Saree shop - Aamrapali. On the first floor of this saree shop is Pratima Gallery.
• This spacious, well lit gallery has double levels where two simultaneous small shows or one huge show can take place.
